They’re all different, with their own individual interior design schemes and plenty of character, plus furniture and art from Charles’ family’s collection. All have comfy beds, soft linens and sparkling en suite bathrooms, plus the things you’d expect as standard: Wi-fi, smart TVs, tea and coffee making facilities with Farrers in Kendal coffee, plus and hairdryers.

For families, we offer two Family Rooms, or if you’d like to stay in separate rooms but just next door, our Lowther Rooms can be booked for you as a family area as there is an outer door to the corridor. We can provide a travel cot for you to use too. Most of our bedrooms are dog friendly, except for those in the annex – rooms 12 (Lowther Suite), 14 and 15 (Clifton).
